(v.9-10) (Jesus reaching to the world)

a. In His gloom (v.9) He was stricken, smitten of God, suffered for our sin.

In His glory (v.9-10) Leading his children homeward. Bringing us into His glory.

II. The Cleanser of Our Sins (v.11-13)

He took the sting out of death and victory from the grave.

"Succour" means to relieve our pain and suffering.
